Quinoa Fried Rice

Quinoa Fried Rice

Fried rice is damn good to eat, but its not the healthiest thing you can put into your body. I’m all about recreating meals at home that taste as good as the take out but don’t turn into fat, or toxicity in the body.








Quinoa Fried Rice


  • 2 cups cooked quinoa
  • 1/4 cup onion, diced
  • 1/4 cup shredded carrot
  • 1/2 cup red bell pepper, minced
  • 1/4 cup peas
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 2-3 tbsp tamari or coconut amino acids or braggs amino acids
  • 2 tbsp. coconut oil
  • 1 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • Real salt and pepper to taste

1. Heat a medium sauté pan over medium high heat. Add coconut oil,

onion, garlic, carrot, bell pepper, and peas to the pan. Cook for 10

minutes stirring often.

2. Add cooked quinoa, Tamari(or amino acids) and rice wine vinegar to the pan. Mix well to


3. Crack two eggs in a small bowl and scramble. Add scrambled raw eggs

to the veggies mixture. Mix well to incorporate the eggs throughout the

whole mixture, breaking up the egg as it gets cooked.

4. Remove from heat, serve immediately.
